  • Provide administrative support to ambulatory patient care teams, including scheduling appointments, registering patients, and handling phone calls.
  • Collect demographic and financial information from patients, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Process electronic or written requests for urgent referrals, and routine referral requests within 24-72 hours.
  • Ensure complete and accurate information is recorded in accordance with standard operating procedure to support reimbursement and regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate patient issues and concerns to providers, and ensure appropriate forms are given to patients depending on appointment type and specialty.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
  • Minimum one year of relevant work experience, required.
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience, preferred.
  • Computer skills, customer service, time management, and maintaining confidentiality are essential.
Work Environment

This is a sedentary role that involves sitting most of the time. Occasional grasping, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, stooping, and standing are required.
