Environmental Services Operations Manager

Aramark is seeking a skilled Environmental Services Manager to lead our team at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital in Los Angeles, CA. As an Environmental Services Manager with Aramark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our clients' facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership
- Oversee the operational management and financial performance of the unit.
- C coach employees by creating a shared understanding about what needs to be achieved and how it is to be achieved.
- Reward and recognize employees for their hard work and dedication.
- Identify and engage top talent and develop team members to their fullest potential within the organization.
- Plan and lead team management meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations.
- Client Relationship
- Establish and maintain effective client and customer rapport for a mutually beneficial business relationship.
- Identify client needs and communicate operational progress.
- Deliver and model WEST as the foundation for delivering excellent customer service.
- Facilitate and support new business and retention activities.
- Develop program (facilities, custodial, energy, grounds or maintenance) to meet client and customer demands and specifications.
- Financial Performance
- Build revenue and manage budget which includes cost controls with regard to labor, supply, and inventory.
- Ensure the completion and maintenance of financial statements relative to the department.
- Oversight and responsibility to deliver client and company financial targets.
- Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, eliminate custom/manual reports.
- Understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins.
- Productivity
- Implement and maintain GM agenda for both labor and total quality management requirements.
- Create value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management.
- Ensure consistent application of Aramark?s operating standards and processes (Operational Excellence) with particular focus on efficiencies in sustainability efforts to reduce energy consumption and labor productivity standards.
A successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in healthcare environmental services and up to 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required. The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $85,000.00 and $85,000.00 per year, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
