Cardiac Surgical Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Surgical Stepdown unit, Ellison 8. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to patients with complex cardiac conditions.

About the Role
  • This is a 36-bed adult population unit caring for patients with all aspects of heart disease appropriate for surgical intervention.
  • Patient diagnosis includes coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, aortic disease, and congenital heart disease.
  • Patient teaching is strongly emphasized with respect to cardiac risk factor modification.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to our patients. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience required.
  • Current Massachusetts RN licensure required.
  • At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in telemetry.
  • Ability to work day/night rotation, including weekends and holidays.

Your salary will be approximately $95,000 - 115,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. In addition to your base pay, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off, and more.
