Job Summary

We are seeking a Unit Secretary to provide administrative support to our clinic staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting and assisting patients, ensuring patient charts are accurate and up-to-date, and performing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Enter treatment information into the Medical Information System (MIS)
  • Initiate, maintain, and complete patient medical records
  • Assist with data-related needs, including entering episodes of care and responding to requests for data
  • Prepare meeting agendas and minutes as requested
  • Maintain accurate treatment statistics and provide reports to the nurse manager or area operations director
  • Perform receptionist duties, including sorting and distributing mail, answering and routing phone calls, and greeting and directing visitors
  • Work with integrity and uphold organizational goals and values
  • React appropriately under pressure and accept responsibility for own actions
  • Use equipment and materials properly and adapt to changes in the work environment
  • Demonstrate attention to detail with accuracy and thoroughness
