Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our patient care staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our patients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient care with a focus on knowledge of patient growth and development, tailored to the ages of the patients served.
  • Observe and report any changes in patients' physical, mental, emotional, behavioral, and social well-being.
  • Record vital signs and report deviations from normal to the primary or charge nurse.
  • Perform various treatments and procedures as assigned, including R.O.M., Dayroom Monitoring, and Courtesy Cart duties.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues regarding patient needs and requests.
  • Orient patients to their environment and develop rapport with patients, family, and significant others.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • 1 year of experience as a certified nurse aide in long-term care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to lift, position, push, and/or transfer patients.
