Nurse - End-Stage Renal Failure Care Specialist
3 weeks ago
About the Role
DaVita is seeking a Nurse who desires to deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way to patients dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. As a member of our outpatient dialysis center team, you will have the opportunity to make an exceptional difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
About the Team
We have the highest percentage of facilities meeting or exceeding CMS's standards in the government's two key performance programs. Our nurses commit to improving patient health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives. We strive to be a community first and a company second, where all teammates experience DaVita as "a place where I belong."
About the Opportunity
* No dialysis experience is required. Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic. You will float to various clinics during and after your training. A flexible schedule is required, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will be part of a team that supports and relies on each other in a positive environment. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting. You will oversee a group of patients with the support of PCTs to conduct patient observations, measuring stats, and machine set up. You will work with your head, heart, and hands each day in a fast-paced environment.
About the Compensation
We offer a competitive total rewards package, including a 401(k) match, healthcare coverage, and a broad range of other benefits. Our DaVita Rewards package connects teammates to what matters most, including comprehensive benefits, support for you and your family, paid training, and more. Compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. Learn more at
About the Requirements
* An Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) or a three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted. You may also have experience in the following areas: ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg. Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certifications are also desirable.
