About the Team:
Our Business Development Representatives (BDR) Team is a dynamic group of over 70 professionals throughout North America, supporting over 300 sales reps in various market segments, from Small to Medium Businesses to Enterprise level companies.
BDRs play a crucial role in UKG's Marketing and Sales organizations, responsible for generating new business through outbound prospecting and lead follow-up.
Our team members share a passion for technology, thrive in a competitive environment, and consistently strive to create sales opportunities.
About the Role:
As a Business Development Representative, you will create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory, working closely with field sales executives and management.
You will leverage strong prospecting and business development skills to generate incremental revenue opportunities through outbound calling and lead generation.
Utilizing knowledge of UKG products and solutions, you will enhance the client's or prospect's interest in UKG and communicate the value of our solution(s) to further assist the sales cycle.
You will partner with the field sales team to promote UKG's business initiatives and enhance the customer or prospect's knowledge of UKG products, programs, and services.
Employing expert probing skills, you will expand contacts or define new product requirements within a prospect and/or customer, increasing revenue and teaming with field sales.
Maintain expected metrics of outbound calls and targeted emails to increase the number of live conversations per day.
Provide qualified lead information to the field sales organization to assist in account progression or sales pipeline acceleration.
About You:
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of professional experience as a BDR/SDR with strong outbound experience and one additional year of general professional experience.
1 year of experience utilizing all pertinent social media tools to improve prospecting success (e.g., LinkedIn Navigator, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.).
Proficient in using various software and tools.
Able to work in an assigned UKG office three days a week (based on the territory listed in the title).
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the enterprise software industry, specifically HCM or Workforce Management.
Familiar or certified in a common sales methodology (e.g., Sandler, Holden, AAISP, etc.).
