Job Summary

As a Medical Scribe at ScribeMD, you will have the opportunity to work directly alongside medical professionals in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Your primary responsibility will be to document patient encounters in real-time, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Accompany providers to patient exam rooms to document patient history, physical examination findings, and laboratory results.
  2. Document patient care activities, including provider-to-provider communication and patient re-examinations.
  3. Review and finalize documentation with supervising physicians, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; future healthcare students encouraged to apply.
  2. Ability to multitask in a high-stress environment and maintain confidentiality and privacy.
  3. Basic to intermediate knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. College-level education in health or medical-related courses.
  2. Advanced knowledge of medical terminology and fluency in a foreign language (Spanish preferred).
  3. Availability to work 2+ years and 3+ shifts per week.
