Job Title: CCTV Surveillance Analyst - Crime Prevention Specialist

Overview

The role of a CCTV Surveillance Analyst - Crime Prevention Specialist at Holtec Security International involves collecting and analyzing various pieces of information related to crimes, including video evidence, documents, and other relevant materials. This individual will work under direction to create a logical framework for the collected data, ensuring that it is organized and easily accessible.

Responsibilities

• Virtually patrol public spaces within viewable areas to identify known or suspected elements of ongoing or anticipated criminal activity, as well as other suspicious activities and quality-of-life matters.
• Communicate situational awareness and virtual patrol observations to field units in a clear and concise manner.
• Evaluate activities to ensure crime prevention efforts align with established plans, predetermined patrol sector/hotspot expectations, and emerging crime conditions.
• Generate virtual directed patrol computer-aided dispatch (CAD) tickets for virtual directed patrol assignments, indicating camera location and directed virtual patrol type.
• Review recorded body-worn camera video to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Complete tasks related to archiving video for investigative, evidentiary, and/or regulatory compliance purposes.
• Design statistical reports, distribute them, and perform statistical data analysis for various programs associated with crime statistics.
• Perform related work as required.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience in CCTV surveillance and intelligence analysis is necessary.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with computer systems to conduct video surveillance and complete required reports is essential.
• The ability to work in a high-stress environment is critical.
• Effective written communication skills are necessary to prepare findings and create reports.

Estimated Salary Range:

$65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
