Healthcare Education Instructor

Job Responsibilities:
The instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality education in nursing assistant, phlebotomy technician, electrocardiogram technician, and medical assistant programs. This includes course preparation, lecture and lab instruction, clinical coordination, student record keeping, and maintaining reporting deadlines. The instructor will provide continuous communication to students, faculty, and staff, and schedule certification exams appropriately.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
A current licensed RN/LPN with two years of field nursing experience, including at least one year in long-term care services for elderly or chronically ill patients. A CMA with three years of experience in the same or similar field is also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
An associate degree or higher, or equivalent work experience, with experience as a lab and/or clinical preceptor. Current instructor credentials for American Heart Association Basic Life Support are also preferred.
