Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mitigation Lead Tech/Crew Leader to join our team at ServiceMaster Restoration by David. As a key member of our disaster restoration team, you will be responsible for leading by example in performing quality mitigation and remediation work, while motivating your crew to do the same.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Perform quality mitigation and remediation work, and motivate your crew to do the same.
  • Customer Service: Give comfort to customers who are facing the major adversity of a disaster in their home or place of business.
  • Team Management: Manage technicians assigned to jobs, and ensure that work is completed according to company processes and carrier standards.
  • Communication: Interface with adjusters in person, over the phone, and virtually to resolve issues and answer questions about the loss.
  • Documentation: Complete sketch and scope sheet for estimate, complete drying records using mobile software, and obtain customer signatures for approval purposes.
  • Training and Development: May train new technicians or key operational team members.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure safety standards are being followed during all active jobs, and report to work on time in a clean, complete uniform.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Knowledge of disaster restoration or construction industry, and experience with using mobile software to enter data.
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize activities and meet deadlines.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as ASD – Applied Structural Drying Technician, FSRT – Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician, OCT – Odor Control Technician, and WRT – Water Damage Restoration Technician are preferred but not required.
