About the Role

The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in coordinating clinical activities for Medical/Surgical patients.

  • Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient-centered care.
  • Supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Unit Assistants, and Certified Nursing Assistants.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction.

This position requires a current LA RN licensure, BLS certification, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts, including holidays and weekends.

We offer an estimated salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assesses patient needs and develops individualized care plans.
  • Coordinates patient care with other healthcare professionals.
  • Provides education and support to patients and their families.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed Board Certified Nursing Program.
  • Current LA RN licensure.
  • BLS certification through ILCOR-approved courses.

Physical Demands:

  • Must possess good physical health.
  • Lifting at least 50 pounds is required.
  • Constant standing, sitting, or walking for long periods of time.
