About the Role
Job Summary and Key ResponsibilitiesThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role at St. David's Georgetown Hospital, ensuring high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during designated shifts.
Main responsibilities include:
- Admission and Discharge Processes: Assist with efficient throughput and high-quality care to meet patient needs.
- Quality Assessments: Participate in ongoing evaluations of quality patient care services provided in the unit.
- Team Collaboration: Work with subject matter experts to create a teamwork environment that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Patient First Philosophy: Support a patient-first approach and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Labor Management: Assist with staff scheduling and managing labor to meet patient care demands.
Key Requirements
- Certification: Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Licensure and Education: Hold a Registered Nurse license and Associate Degree in Nursing.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is $92,500, based on experience and qualifications.
