Sales Associate Part-time

As a Part-time Sales Associate at Fastenal, you will play a vital role in shaping customer relationships and driving business success. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about sales and customer service, and are looking to grow their skills and advance their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support business-to-business (B2B) sales and customer service activities
• Provide value to customers through a consultative sales approach
• Develop new and grow existing relationships from leads, referrals, and prospecting
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs
• Perform local sales calls driving a company vehicle to customer sites
Requirements:
• 18 years of age or older
• Possess a current full valid driver's license
• Possess or be working towards a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, or related field of study
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service-oriented
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
• Strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
• Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages that typically weigh 25-50 pounds and may weigh up to 75 pounds
• Pass the required drug screen
• Pass a sex offender registry check
