We are seeking a skilled Vacuum Excavation Technician to join our team at RECONN. As a leader in the utility industry, we prioritize quality and safety, and we're looking for individuals who share our values.

About the Role

This is a daytime, full-time position with some overtime required. You will be responsible for traveling to assigned work sites to perform vacuum excavation, also known as hydro-excavation, potholing, or keyholing. You will work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and use a company-provided laptop to document projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform vacuum excavation activities near utilities, including core drilling, shoveling, back filling, and construction labor.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with problem-solving.
  • Travel to assigned work sites and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Use a company-provided laptop to document projects and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work in a confined space and lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be computer proficient and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and possess a DOT medical card.
