Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at MD Anderson Cancer Center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing direct, professional occupational therapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient consultations, evaluations, and treatment plans to restore function, relieve pain, and promote healing.
  • Review patient referrals and medical records to ensure accurate and effective treatment.
  • Contribute to performance improvement and quality management tasks to enhance patient care.
  • Participate in patient and student education to promote knowledge and skills.
  • Assist in the orientation of new employees and volunteers to ensure a smooth transition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
  • Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas issued by the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR).
