Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join our team at Leidos. This role involves providing technical construction management and oversight support for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) facility modernization projects.

About the Role

This position requires 80% travel with each assignment typically lasting weeks or months. As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for supervising construction of FAA projects on-site and ensuring that completed work complies with plans and specifications.

  • Review, document, and report on construction progress to the FAA Resident Engineer.
  • Monitor construction site safety and prepare notices of unsafe working conditions.
  • Perform engineering analysis with respect to code compliance, reliability, maintainability, safety, economy, project specifications, and recommend corrective action where appropriate.
  • Provide estimates of construction progress.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong technical background and experience with construction projects, risk mitigation, coordination planning, and documentation. You should also be proficient in project design and management, as well as verbal and written communications.

A minimum of 10 years of construction oversight experience is required, with a preference for Civil Engineering Degree (B.S.) or similar degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience as Project Engineer and/or Resident Engineer with Civil Engineering Design, Project Management experience.

You should also have experience reviewing project drawings and specifications, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites such as MS Word and MS Excel.
