Job Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based care plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Mentor and educate nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines that promote best practices.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing required.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with recent experience in a hospital setting.
  • Active RN license in Virginia or compact/multi-state eligible.
  • Certification in a specialty area deemed eligible for CNS by State Boards of Nursing.
  • CNS registration with Virginia or North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required for Intermediate Care and Critical Care.
Salary and Benefits
