Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Deep Foundations Superintendent to join our dynamic construction team. This role is a critical leadership position, responsible for overseeing all aspects of deep foundation projects, including project management, quality control, budget management, contract negotiation, blueprint reading, and site management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of deep foundation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety compliance and quality control.
  • Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Solve complex problems that may arise during the construction process.
  • Implement and oversee the company's safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage heavy civil and auger drilling operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in project management, quality control, budget management, contract negotiation, blueprint reading, site management, and problem solving.
  • Expertise in construction management, with a focus on deep foundations.
  • Knowledge of safety compliance standards and best practices in the construction industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience in auger drilling and heavy civil.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to find effective solutions to complex challenges.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
