Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pile Buck to join our team at Lynnhaven Marine and Dock, Inc. in the marine/heavy-civil construction industry.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience with pile driving timber piles, sheet piles, concrete pile, and h-piles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Drive all types of piles for building foundations, cofferdams, piers, and bridges using heavy equipment with a pile driver head.
  • Operate impact hammers and position leads for pile placement.
  • Operate vibratory hammers and rigging for steel sheet pile.
  • Provide support for crane activities and pile deliveries.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Pile Buck in the marine/heavy-civil construction industry.
  • Valid Driver License
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to perform layout and determine elevations a plus.
