Job Overview

At Washington Hospital, we're committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for our patients and staff. As a Maintenance Equipment Operator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.

The Maintenance Equipment Operator assists the professional staff in performing mechanical and maintenance tasks, and reporting on various types of general and special purpose equipment. This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hospital equipment and machinery.
  2. Demonstrate proficiency in using various tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
  3. Accurately report information to members of the department team and other staff members to ensure timely intervention and adequate care.
  4. Complete all technical skills and procedures as delegated by management.

A valid driver's license is required without any Tier-D Violations.

Compensation Package: $23.18/hour (increasing to $23.70/hour after 90 days)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. (with flexibility to work other shifts as needed)
