At Sam's Club, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dedicated Prepared Foods Associate to join our team. As a key member of our prepared foods team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by preparing high-quality food products while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

About the Job

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for food preparation, and are committed to providing outstanding customer service. As a Dedicated Prepared Foods Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and serving high-quality food products, including meats, cheeses, fruits, and vegetables, according to company standards and recipes.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitized work area, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas, to ensure a safe and healthy environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Assisting customers with their prepared foods needs, answering questions, and making recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales goals and objectives, including participating in visual merchandising, stock maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
What We Offer

As a Dedicated Prepared Foods Associate at Sam's Club, you can expect a competitive hourly wage of $16.00 to $23.00*, depending on your location and experience. You will also receive benefits such as:

  • Paid time off benefits, including PTO, parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting.

Additional compensation may be paid in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications or training.
  • Be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications

We also welcome applicants with prior experience in the food industry, particularly in roles involving food preparation, customer service, or inventory management. If you have a Food Service Certification (Food Safety) or similar qualifications, please highlight them in your application.
