Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team at Gila River Development. As a key member of our partnership development team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business partnerships that drive revenue growth and support our mission.

About the Role:

  • Salary Range: $53,300 - $75,000 per annum, plus commission
  • Location: Wild Horse Pass Corporate Center
  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Full-Time
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Supervisory: No
  • Reports To: Assistant General Manager of Experience

Key Responsibilities:

Sponsorship Strategy Development:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to attract and retain partners for our venues and events through creating tailored deliverables.

• Identify and research potential partnership opportunities aligned with the venues' and events' brands and target audiences.

Relationship Management:

• Solicit, cultivate, maintain, and grow relationships with existing partners, ensuring their deliverables, satisfaction, and maximizing engagement.

• Coordinate all partner deliverables and fulfillment activities.

Prospecting and Negotiation:

• Prospect, pitch, and negotiate partnership agreements through research and networking to new partners, leveraging the unique offerings and opportunities available through all our branding outlets.

Collaboration and Customization:

• Collaborate with marketing and event teams to create customized partnership packages and activation plans tailored to the needs and objectives of each opportunity.

Performance Monitoring:

• Monitor and track partnership performance, providing regular reports and analysis for measure ROI and identify areas for growth.

Industry Awareness:

• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in all partnership and marketing opportunities.

Representation and Networking:

• Represent all our venues and events at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote partnership opportunities and build relationships with new potential partners.

Stakeholder Alignment:

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to align partnership efforts with overall business objectives and revenue targets.

Financial Management:

• Develop and manage partnership budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.

• Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts related to partnership revenue.

Contract Management:

• Draft, review, and manage partnership contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Manage contract negotiations and renewals to secure favorable terms for the organization.

Creative and Digital Development:

• Work with the creative team to develop marketing materials and promotional content for partnership proposals and activations.

• Integrate partnership initiatives with digital and social media campaigns to enhance visibility and engagement.

• Leverage digital platforms to track and report on partnership performance metrics.
