About Us

Star Dental Partners, a reputable dental practice in Asheville, is seeking a skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join their team. As a valued member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced dentists and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for preventive care, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of oral hygiene.

We offer a competitive hourly compensation rate of $45-$60 per hour, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan matching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen patients during check-ups and review their medical history">
  • Administer prophylactic treatments by scaling and polishing teeth">
  • Document existing restorations and use X-rays as needed">
  • Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques">
  • Conduct screenings and assist patients with oral hygiene maintenance

Requirements:
  • ">
  • A current North Carolina hygienist license">
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification">
  • Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training">
  • A minimum of one year of RDH clinical experience
