Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Leader to join our team at United Refining. As a Shift Leader, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our store, assisting the location Manager and Assistant Manager in maintaining a high level of customer service and store appearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer exceptional customer service, greeting all customers with a smile and hello.
  • Suggest merchandise purchases to all customers, providing personalized recommendations.
  • Learn and operate the cash register and additional required equipment with accuracy, ensuring seamless transactions.
  • Price, stock, and face merchandise, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Manage product storage, maintenance, and rotation activities to prevent damage or spoilage, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Maintain the store in accordance with maintenance policies and Health Department regulations, performing tasks such as replacing gas nozzles and hoses, changing pump filters, and sweeping parking lots.
  • Account for all shift and daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Present a neat and clean appearance, adhering to the company dress code.
  • Learn and complete store required paperwork with accuracy, meeting deadlines.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Store Manager or District Manager, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Dependable, independent transportation
  • Ability to multi-task, with strong organizational and communication skills
Work Environment

This role is based in a typical retail convenience store setting, requiring the ability to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
