Ophthalmology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Staff Ophthalmologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical and surgical services to patients, as well as supervising and training residents and medical students.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmology, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will be expected to maintain high clinical quality, productivity, and citizenship within the department, and to represent the department with professionalism and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide ophthalmology medical and surgical services as needed
- Supervise and train residents and medical students
- Maintain high clinical quality, productivity, and citizenship within the department
- Represent the department with clinicians, trainees, and staff
- Develop referral and educational relationships within Mass Eye and Ear Associates and with other practices
- Develop a regional and national presence as a clinical leader
- Perform administrative and committee responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- MD or DO and Ophthalmology residency in an accredited training program
- Fellowship training for subspecialty care practice
- State licensure, compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements, hospital and medical school appointment requirements
