About the Role

The Downtown Emergency Service Center is seeking a skilled Crisis Case Manager to join our Mobile Response Team. As a Crisis Case Manager, you will play a critical role in providing crisis behavioral health services and time-limited case management to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to crisis calls from housing sites and provide timely outreach services to individuals in crisis.
  • Complete risk assessments, develop safety plans, and coordinate with clients and housing staff to ensure safety.
  • Refer clients to MRT case management for continued support and establish plans to engage clients in relevant services and resources.
  • Assist clients in accessing internal resources and identifying unmet needs that may be causing recurrent crises.
  • Provide follow-up services to coordinate care with case managers, housing staff, and other support services.

Requirements:

  • Ability to meet Washington Department of Health requirements for registration as a Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) or any other superseding credential.
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related behavioral science, or a combination of 1 year of relevant paid work experience and demonstration of the ability to perform required job duties.
  • Ability to drive an agency or personal vehicle to conduct agency-related business and a current Washington State driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Familiarity with Recovery Principles, Crisis Intervention and Stabilization, Integrated Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders, Intensive Case Management, Illness Management, Trauma-Informed Treatment, and relevant Evidenced-based/Emerging best practices.
