About the Role

This Advanced Care Partner Externship position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic oncology setting. As an ACP, you'll work under the supervision of our experienced healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign collection, medication administration, and wound care
  • Assist patients with personal care, activities of daily living, and progressive mobility
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean care environment

You'll have the chance to work closely with our interdisciplinary team, collaborating with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong commitment to patient-centered care. You must also meet the following requirements:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • Enrollment in an accredited nursing program and good academic standing
  • Completion of first clinical rotation (equivalent to Med/Surg I) and provision of transcripts
