Job SummaryValidaTek is seeking a highly skilled Senior.Net Developer to lead software development for one of our Defense Customers. The ideal candidate will have technical experience developing software capability and leading modernization efforts. As the Senior.Net Developer, you will perform requirements analysis; decompose requirements into features, user stories, and tasks; perform custom development; deploy solutions to development, test, and production environments utilizing various tools and remediate software bugs found in testing and production. Development to integrate with other software systems via APIs is also in scope for this role.
Responsibilities
• Lead the development team in the design, implementation, and testing of software applications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Manage and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, software development best practices, and project timelines
• Coordinate with other teams to integrate software components and manage dependencies
• Participate in code reviews, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance the team's capabilities and project outcomes
Qualifications
• Must possess a DoD Secret clearance at minimum
• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree, and at least 7 years' of software development experience
• Minimum 5 years' of experience developing software applications using an Agile development framework
• Experience with a.NET-compatible language such as C#
• Proficiency in.NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server, SQL, C#, Azure, Azure DevOps, Workflow, Networking, and Firewalls
• Ability to interact with customers to understand requirements and create solutions
• Ability to manage complex infrastructure managed by different teams
• Experience leading an agile team through development and testing of scientific applications
• Proficiency in Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT) and Extensible Markup Language (XML) or alternatives
• Experience with automated testing
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Preferred Experience: Experience with Public Key Encryption (PKI) authentication and username-password authentication is preferred
• Experience with spectrum (radio frequency) management systems (commercial, government or DOD)
• DOD software development experience
• Software modernization experience
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $95,577.60 to $159,296.00 per year. ValidaTek offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
