HR Benefits Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company near the Phoenix/Tempe area to find an HR Benefits Specialist. This role is fully in-office, Monday-Friday, with flexible hours. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, including FMLA, LOA, and workers' compensation. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively communicate and support employees in navigating their benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness plans.
  • Oversee FMLA and LOA processes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Handle workers' compensation claims and provide guidance to employees throughout the process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement benefits communications and educational materials.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations affecting employee benefits.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, including FMLA, LOA, and workers' compensation.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • PHR or SHRM certification is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Paylocity and UKG/UltiPro is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
