Benefits Administrator

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company near the Phoenix/Tempe area to find an HR Benefits Specialist. This role is fully in-office, Monday-Friday, with flexible hours. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, including FMLA, LOA, and workers' compensation. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively communicate and support employees in navigating their benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness plans.
- Oversee FMLA and LOA processes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Handle workers' compensation claims and provide guidance to employees throughout the process.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement benefits communications and educational materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations affecting employee benefits.
- 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration, including FMLA, LOA, and workers' compensation.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- PHR or SHRM certification is highly preferred.
- Experience with Paylocity and UKG/UltiPro is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
