As a Senior Editor of Content Strategy, you will play a critical role in shaping the narrative of Southern California Edison's brand reputation. You will work closely with the Senior Manager of Content Strategy and Channel Management to develop compelling content that aligns with the company's strategy and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and edit content for various digital channels, including internal and external audiences.
  • Write and line edit narrative copy using AP style for various channels, establishing a consistent tone and voice.
  • Dissect complex industry-specific content into concise, clear, and simplified narratives.
  • Support content development for various channels and provide story ideas and pitches at weekly content strategy meetings.
  • Create content aligned to the company's strategy, priorities, and narrative using a multi-channel approach to storytelling.
  • Post content using various Content Management Systems across internal and external channels.
  • Support a cohesive editorial calendar that drives awareness and engagement of the company's strategy and priorities.
  • Provide line-editing and copy-editing support for channels across both internal and external platforms.

Requirements

  • Ten or more years of combined experience in communications, journalism, social media, and/or marketing.
  • Five or more years of line and copyediting experience with an eye for detail and knowledge of AP style.
  • Five or more years of experience working with Content Management Systems, including WordPress, Drupal, AEM, SharePoint, and other similar CMS.
