Nursing Care Specialist

As a Certified Senior Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide expert care to residents in our long-term care setting, assisting with daily living activities and supporting clinical staff.
About This RoleThis part-time role requires CNA certification and focuses on the physical and psychological needs of seniors under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will deliver personalized nursing care, document resident interactions, and ensure a positive living environment.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, and dressing/undressing.
- Provide psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents, promoting their dignity and well-being.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum age of 16 years old.
- Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
- Satisfactory completion of yearly department-specific competency testing and maintenance of continuing education credits for each year.

Based on industry standards and location, the estimated salary range for this role is $20.00 - $29.50 per hour. The exact salary will depend on factors such as qualifications, experience, and performance.
