Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to support the development and implementation of a state-of-the-art quality system. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products/services meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.

This part-time opportunity offers a unique chance to contribute to the enhancement and implementation of our quality management system.


Key Responsibilities:

Quality System Development:
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to design and develop a robust quality management system aligned with industry best practices

Documentation and Compliance:
Assist in the creation, review, and maintenance of quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality manuals

Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the quality system and contribute to the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions

Training and Awareness:
Support the development and delivery of training programs to ensure awareness and understanding of the quality system throughout the

Audits:
Participate in internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement

Data Analysis:
Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the quality system

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate quality requirements into product development and operational processes

Qualifications:


Current enrollment in a relevant degree program (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic understanding of quality management principles and standards.

Preferred
Qualifications:
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management standards.
Previous experience or coursework related to quality assurance.
