Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Mercy Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care, working under the direction of a licensed professional.

About the Role

This is a full-time position, requiring 40 hours of scheduled work per week. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of clinical patient care experience and be certified in BLS. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care, educate patients on their conditions, and administer medications safely.

Responsibilities

* Analyze patient assessment data and collaborate with providers to develop personalized care plans
* Provide education to patients, families, and staff members on health-related topics
* Coordinate patient care with other healthcare entities according to individual plans
* Administer medications accurately and safely, adhering to organizational policies and state regulations
* Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor within the practice, supporting clinical and professional development

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a current LPN license from the state of employment or be an LPN applicant, and possess basic life support certification preferred upon hire. A degree is not required, but having one may be beneficial for career advancement. Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record training is also desired.
