Job Overview
The Water Truck Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the water truck, controlling dust and keeping road surfaces at optimum moisture content. This role requires a strong understanding of construction safety and OSHA requirements, as well as knowledge of water truck and other road construction equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the Water Truck and other equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
- Fill truck tank with water.
- Spray water in designated areas.
- Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the Water Truck.
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, you should have:
- A Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
- 3-5 years of water truck experience and a high school diploma/GED or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of water truck and other road construction equipment.
- Knowledge of road construction materials, road construction processes, and industry requirements.
- A sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

Salary
