The facility also offers the region's only multi-person hyperbaric chamber, allowing up to nine patients to dive together at one time. Work Shifts
- 7:00 A.M - 3:30 P.M
- 8:00 A.M - 4:00 P.M
- 8:30 A.M - 4:30 P.M
- 9:00 A.M - 5:00 P.M
- 10:00 A.M - 6:00 P.M
Job Description
This role will offer creative interventions and develop ongoing programming for our Behavioral Health staff. The successful candidate will provide supervision and training to our staff on wellness and self-care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support behavioral Health Services preventative and proactive staff wellness approach (including wellness events, wellness rounds and emotional debriefs)
- Facilitate Violence Prevention trainings such as Preventing and Managing Crisis Situations (PMCS) trainings with Behavioral Health Services and eventually facility wide PMCS trainings.
- Provide wellness outreach calls to staff on leave or with extended absences.
Requirements
- A valid License issued by the New York State Education Department to practice as a Creative Arts Therapist.
- Two years of full-time, paid, professional experience in creative arts therapy.
