About the Position
">We are currently seeking a qualified Forensic Psychologist to join our team at GRHA. This position requires a Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited college or university and current Georgia license to practice psychology.
Job Summary
">The successful candidate will be responsible for completing criminal forensic evaluations, participating on recovery planning teams, facilitating group treatment, and developing individualized recovery plans. They will also document treatment progress, complete face-to-face forensic mental health evaluations, and provide expert testimony as needed.
Responsibilities & Performance Standards

- Conducts court-ordered pretrial forensic psychological evaluations to answer questions of competency to stand trial and/or criminal responsibility as a neutral friend of the court.">
- Completes assessments on individuals admitted to a State Forensic Psychiatric Unit.">
- Conducts forensic risk assessments and other psychological testing.">
- Conducts groups and psycho-educational interventions.">
Requirements
">To be eligible for this position, applicants must have a Doctorate degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited college or university and current Georgia license to practice psychology. One year of experience at the lower level Psychologist 1 (HCP140) or equivalent is also required. Note that license may be temporary, provisional, or permanent. Salary range: $81,000.00 - $124,000.00 per year. The position offers flexible schedule with 10 hour shift, day shift, evening shift, Monday to Friday, on call, weekends as needed. Ability to relocate to Decatur, GA is required before starting work.
