As a Nurse Leader at Kaiser Permanente, you will provide professional nursing care and lead the healthcare team in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures. You will demonstrate performance consistent with the Medical Center Vision, Mission, and Strategic Plan of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately
- Uphold Kaiser Permanente's Policies and Procedures, Principles of Responsibilities, and applicable state, federal and local laws
- Develop and/or contribute to the individualized plan of care that reflects assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating the outcomes of that plan
- Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures utilizing the five rights
- Provide an optimal patient care experience by actively listening to the needs of patients and family members and taking responsibility for meeting those identified needs
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in an acute care setting or completion of a Kaiser Permanente (KP) or equivalent training program within prior 12 months
- Registered Nurse License (California)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BSN preferred
- Care of ventilator patients preferred
- Care of stroke patients preferred
- Care of neurology-surgical patients preferred
