We are seeking a skilled Nurse Oncologist Senior to join our team at Providence Clinical Network (PCN). This role is perfect for a compassionate and experienced nurse who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with cancer.

Salary InformationThe estimated salary for this role ranges from $42.67 to $67.54 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Job ResponsibilitiesThis Nurse Oncologist Senior will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing direct patient care and coordinating the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing knowledge of oncology and other specialty diagnoses, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, port-a-caths, and venous access devices.
- Applying the nursing process in direct patient care and coordinating the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.
- Mentoring journey-level infusion RNs and assisting with orientation, training, and education of clinic personnel and infusion RNs.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- A bachelor's degree in nursing or an associate's degree in nursing with 4 years' experience as a registered nurse.
- An Oregon Registered Nurse License, National Registered Nurse Compact License, or National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
- 3 years' experience in infusion nursing.
- Preferred qualifications include 2 years' ambulatory nursing experience.
