Ophthalmologist/Opthalmology Specialist

Veterans Evaluation Services, a Maximus Federal company, is seeking qualified Ophthalmologists and Optometrists to join our network as independent contractors. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in conducting disability examinations for Veterans, providing expert medical opinions, and supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs in fulfilling President Lincoln's promise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations and examinations for Veterans
• Develop and submit medical opinions on the likelihood of Veterans' conditions being related to their military service
• Collaborate with Veterans, medical records, and military documentation to gather and synthesize clinical evidence
• Work with our user-friendly software and dedicated provider support system to ensure seamless exam processes

Requirements:

• Doctorate degree in Medicine or Optometry
• Active and unrestricted license in the state where exams are performed
• Practice location with visual field testing capabilities
