Job Overview

This is an ongoing position that requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and excellent communication abilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the PICU team, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and ensuring that patients receive compassionate and evidence-based care.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of nurses and medical professionals in the PICU, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, directors, and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols that promote patient safety and quality care.
  • Develop and manage staffing plans, scheduling, and staff development programs to meet current and anticipated needs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a nurse manager or leader in a pediatric intensive care unit.
  • National certification in a clinical specialty area.
  • Current Washington State RN license.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $126,805 - $190,207, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure is based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
