Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Services Specialist to join our team at Abode Care Partners. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality medical care to seniors and patients with complex needs in various settings.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge base of HIPAA and OSHA regulations, proficiency in medical instruments and equipment, excellent time management skills, and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate patient medical needs
  • Examine and treat chronic and urgent episodic illnesses, minor injuries, accidents, and other injuries or illnesses
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed
  • Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals in providing interdisciplinary care and maintaining a comprehensive plan of care
  • Provide referrals to other healthcare practitioners when necessary
  • Ensure patient medical records are kept up to date
Requirements
  • Active state Nurse Practitioners license
  • Current Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification
  • Active state DEA licensure
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Five or more years of nursing experience; at least two years of nurse practitioner experience preferred
  • Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
  • Ability to engage in moderate physical activity, such as handling objects up to 25 lbs., standing or walking for more than four hours per day, etc.

Estimated salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year based on location and experience.
