About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join our team at Winters Services Inc as a Risk Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling insurance to qualified prospects, retaining and adjusting to current client insurance needs, and ensuring continued profitable agency growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Actively contact prospects, schedule appointments, make sales presentations, and close on new business accounts, balancing production to achieve desired mix of business.
  • Client Management: Maintain a prospect list of clients of agency's targeted business in agency prospect system, complete applications for Account Managers to submit to appropriate markets, and arrange payment terms for all accounts in accordance with agency credit and collections policy.
  • Account Management: Cooperate in gathering information on assigned accounts for renewal marketing and handling per agency procedures, deliver policies and/or binders on assigned accounts following agency guidelines and timeframes.
  • Professional Development: Attend sales seminars, company sales meetings, or educational activities needed to improve sales techniques and stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the marketplace.
Requirements
  • Producer License: Producer license and/or Insurance License preferred but willing to assist the right individual to obtain license.
  • Education: College degree highly desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, highly motivated and self-driven individual required, organized and dependable.
