Physician Assistant OBGYN Role in Colorado

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our OBGYN team at Platte Valley Medical Center in Brighton, Colorado. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care while working with a talented group of healthcare professionals.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences. You will work closely with obstetricians and gynecologists to provide comprehensive care to patients, including routine check-ups, prenatal care, and delivery services.
Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting, adhering to established protocols and guidelines
• Conduct routine check-ups, perform well-woman exams, and provide contraceptive counseling
• Participate in prenatal care, including routine monitoring and ultrasound assessments
• Assist with deliveries, including cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries
• Collaborate with obstetricians and gynecologists to ensure seamless patient care transitions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, complying with HIPAA regulations
Requirements
• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Active medical licensure in Colorado or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other practice management systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on patient-centered care
