Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our team at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Laurel Highlands. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our inmate population. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and have a strong commitment to public service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide basic dental care to inmates, including periodic examinations, diagnosing oral diseases, and treating injuries.
  • Supervise the daily work of the institution's dental staff and ensure that adequate security, tool control, and Toxic and Caustic Control are carried out within the dental office.
  • Consult with and refer inmate patients to physicians, oral surgeons, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved school of dentistry.
  • Current license to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions.
