About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer with expertise in Amazon Connect to join our dynamic application development team. In this role, you will work closely with technical leads and stakeholders to design and develop scalable, reliable applications that support our clients' operational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to understand application requirements and build software solutions that align with business goals.
- Participate in application development planning, design, and implementation.
- Write clean, maintainable code for applications and assist with installations and updates.
- Execute diagnostic tests and perform debugging to maintain quality standards.
- Contribute to application integration and support processes, including maintenance and upgrades.
- Document application workflows and collaborate with senior engineers to ensure consistency in processes and practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends in application development to support innovation within the team.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional technical experience, preferably as an application developer/engineer.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect in a development or production environment.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API development.
- Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or React.js.
- Strong interest in aligning application development with business needs.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills, with a willingness to work closely within a team.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience integrating Amazon Connect with Salesforce or other customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Familiarity with application architecture and cloud-first design principles.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools to support development processes.
