Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $62,023 - $72,500 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Service Department Lead at The Shelly Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Service Department. Your primary objective will be to maximize efficiency and productivity while ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor warranty indexes and develop new plans to improve efficiency in the shop.
  • Assist with warranty booking/refused claims and assist technicians with technical issues.
  • Monitor repeat visit/comeback vehicles and maintain personal tools and special tools.
  • Personally repair vehicles when requested by Service Managers and quality control every vehicle.
  • Perform road tests with customers and monitor 'overtime' on a daily basis.
  • Order shop equipment, schedule equipment for repairs, and maintain/organize new tools/broken tool warranties.
  • Sign off warranty repairs and maintain manufacturer required level of technician training.
  • Maintain shop efficiency and productivity, communicate with IT Department to maintain current software in diagnostic units.
  • Conduct shop safety and roundtable training meetings, correct shop safety deficiencies/schedule quarterly safety inspection.
