Electromagnetic Effects Engineer Lead

Electromagnetic Effects (EME) Engineering is a critical discipline within the Aerospace and Defense industry, responsible for engineering analysis and tasks in the Military and Commercial Aircraft business area.
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Electromagnetic Effects Engineer to provide ongoing support for aircraft development and systems modifications, including definition of EME requirements, design support, integration, and testing.
The ideal candidate will have broad EME design support areas such as lightning, grounding, bonding, shielding, EMI, EMC, EMP, antenna analyses, site and link margin, HIRF, HERF/HERP/HERO, and other aspects of EME as defined by MIL-STD-464.
This is a temporary position (5 months) with a 9/80 schedule, 1st shift. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in EME or RF Engineering, minimum of 7 years experience in the aircraft/aerospace industry, commercial or military, and ability to work on and around aircraft and travel for testing if necessary.
The Lead Electromagnetic Effects Engineer will be responsible for leading others, managing task budgets & schedules, and communicating and presenting to an audience. Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, MatLab, MathCAD, and TeamCenter United is required, as well as competent in standard MS Office software tools (Excel, Word).
Under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), all employees assigned to this client must provide documentation verifying their status as a 'U.S. immigration laws' compliant individual.
