Hazardous Waste Remediation Specialist

We are seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our team in North Andover, MA. This role will involve active fieldwork responsible for hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

• Health and Safety: Our number one goal is to ensure health and safety by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times.
• Physical Labor: Engage in strenuous physical labor, including lifting and pulling heavy objects, operating light and heavy equipment, and handling various hand tools and powered industrial tools.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear and properly use a variety of PPE, including respirators, skin, face, hand and foot protection in multiple combinations.
• Weather Conditions: Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, including potentially elevated noise levels, confined spaces, and working at elevations.
• Field Sampling: Assist in field sampling activities and calibration of meters, climb ladders, scaffolding, and into and out of trucks, tanks, and containers.

• Reliable Transportation: Have reliable transportation to travel to work sites.
• Physical Abilities: Be able to perform physical functions per key responsibilities, including emergency response situations that may extend beyond 8 hours.
• Background Check: Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, as required by the position.

• Salary: $20-22 per hour.
