Instrument Calibration Technician

About the Role
This position is responsible for performing calibration services for various instruments and measurement systems. The ideal candidate will have professional skills and experience in a technical field related to instrumentation and measurement.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform calibration of sensors, instruments, and measurement systems according to established procedures and standards.
• Develop and maintain calibration procedures, checklists, and records in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective calibration services and support laboratory operations.
• Analyze and interpret calibration data to ensure accuracy and precision of measurement systems.
• Maintain laboratory standards, laboratory systems, and reference materials to ensure effective calibration services.
• Contribute to procedure, technique, and process improvement to enhance calibration services and laboratory operations.
• Develop and maintain electronic records of measurement results and reports in accordance with company protocols and industry standards.
• Perform all laboratory work in accordance with established safety and quality assurance protocols.
Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience in a laboratory setting with a focus on instrumentation and measurement systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, science, or technology.
• Strong understanding of measurement systems, instrumentation, and calibration principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited Calibration Laboratory.
• Familiarity with calibration procedures, checklists, and records management systems.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and quality assurance protocols.
